Immediately when I heard Beau Dega’s voice scrolling through instagram, I halted. It’s absolutely not something you hear everyday. Resonant, nasally and piercing, it's quite mesmerizing. His punk rock driving beats are psychedelic Beatles meet Bowie vibes mixed with modern lyrics that are catchy, playful and potent. Grab yourself a big plate of pasta, a chunky cannoli, and sit yourself down for a fun ride of Holy Cannoli.

We are premiering Chemical Rut off of Beau Dega’s album that drops next Friday. Hear it below.

Drop your thoughts below!

Already released on this album are “Its Luv,” “Soft Boi” (which has been living rent free in my head all day),  “B.O.M.B.S” and “I DON’T LIKE RICH PEOPLE.”

Here is one of my favorites from this album, “Soft Boi.

Isn’t it sad how I’m always sad?

The vocal quality reminds me a lot of Maps & Atlases or Fraternal Twin, with lighter vibes. This song gets me in my feels. If live, I am sure there would be MUCH dancing. (HERE HERE!) I definitely will be playing this at parties when I can hangout with more than 3 people at one time again. Ha…Ha. Ugh life.

Beau Dega played all of the instruments on these epic tracks (besides sax in a few; shoutout to Dylan McDonnell). They were recorded, mixed, mastered all at his hand as well in hi apartment in NYC. (Formally from CT though- so HEY!)

In light of the STRESS going on right now, this song will let you ~coma~ out for a little and just enjoy thinking about hating the rich (eat the rich).

If you enjoy this, you’re going to love hearing it LIVE on ZOOM & FB on ElizaLeafs podcast next week. See you there.

Featured above is a track off the album that drops November 13th, 2020.
