Premiere: “Chemical Rut” by Beau Dega
Immediately when I heard Beau Dega’s voice scrolling through Instagram, I halted. It’s absolutely not something you hear every day. Resonant, nasally, and piercing, it's quite mesmerizing. His punk rock driving beats are psychedelic Beatles meet Bowie vibes mixed with modern lyrics that are catchy, playful, and potent. Grab yourself a big plate of pasta, a chunky cannoli, and sit yourself down for a fun ride of Holy Cannoli.
New Music You Should Be Listening To: Part Seven
Music from the jazzy Cindy Latin and New Haven’s rocking Luke Ellingsons.
The Most Anticipated Album by the Literal Actual MOST.
The 7-piece Math Rock band have taken their time finding a new octave of their luxurious voice within this album and that's exactly what you would want with a sophomore record. We craved development, change, but in a digestible way that made sense with the path they've spent years carving. In every way this album makes sense with making no complete sense, in only the way this eclectic rock band hailing from Connecticut could.
“Realign” with Tiyou & MXZ.
The funky, soulful EP is extremely cohesive. Not one song jumps out as erroneous, giving the entire album a beautiful tone and setting the mood…..Featuring Tiyou & MXZ straight out of Boston.
An Album Release That Takes The Cake
Charles Perrone (The Hello Stranger) walks and talks the life of a musician. Extremely enjoyable, quietly confident, and full of colors and thought; Charlie is just like his music. Each song explores a new full-bodied harmony that creeps up on you and does the opposite of haunt.
